DfE Risk Protection Arrangement is now available to your school
The Hub is available and ready to assist you with the Risk Protection Arrangement (RPA).
RPA is an alternative to commercial insurance that can save your school time and money. Initiated by Department for Education. RPA is now available to all local authority schools and costs just £18 per pupil.
The RPA is easy to access and offers insurance in categories including:
- Material damage
- Business interruption
- Employers’ liability
- Governors’ liability
- Third-party liability
- Professional indemnity
- Employee and third-party dishonesty
- Personal accident
- UK and overseas travel including winter sports
- Legal expenses
- Cultural assets
RPA was extended to all local authority schools to enable you to benefit from reduced cost of risk cover and achieve similar financial savings as attained by academies. For example, one school has already seen a saving for £20 per pupil which amounts to £12,000 a year!
The Hub uses the DfE recommended frameworks to help schools buy compliantly, whilst saving them time and money on non-staff spend (a full list can be found here). If you would like to find out more information about any of the frameworks, for example the Agency Supply Framework, please get in touch with us today.
If you are interested in finding out how RPA could work for your school, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with the next steps.
